1.1 Development history of APEC
Asia-Pacific Economic cooperation organizations, which is also called APEC, was founded in November 1989 in Canberra, Australia. The aim and decree of APEC is mutual respect, multi-cooperation, equal and mutual beneficial, mutual open and shared prosperity. Now APEC has 21 country members, its population take up 45% of total world population, gross domestic production of APEC takes up 55% of the world, and the trade volume if 46%.
