Abstract
The present study investigates the reforms in the state-owned banks in Poland and China during the transition period. By reviewing the relevant literature, the author looks into the two countries?nbsp;reforms respectively at first and makes a comparison between them at second. The results show that either of them have their own drawbacks in their reform polices while they bear some similarities. Concerning Poland抯 reform in state-owned banks, the author studies the banking system, reform policies and the results of it. Concerning the reform in state-owned banks by China, the author focuses on the background, measures and the trend of banking in China. Finally, a comparison is made to show which the two countries succeeded or failed in. By doing this, the author wants to provide some references for
