A multifold consideration of WTO
Introduction

In the modern competitive society, multinational trade has become more and more important in the development of a country and even the whole world. In the environment of globalization, World Trade Organization (WTO) which is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of the trade between nations plays an important role in the international trade and multinational corporations. This assignment will try to find the role that WTO plays in both the active and negative aspects. To go further, it will also illustrate some necessary reform of the World Trade Organization in the world trading system. The importance of the research lies in the fact that WTO plays an indispensable role in the world trading system, but at the same time it does have some shortcomings and need some urgent reforms, and if the reforms can be undertaken smoothly, the WTO could become more helpful and consummate in promoting the development of the world.

This assignment will be completed into two parts in order to make the structure clearly. Part one will describe the role of the World Trade Organization in the context of the multilateral trade system in which two sections are included, first section will talk about the active roles of the WTO and the second section will talk about its negative aspect. Part two will attempt an analysis of its necessary reform and possible measures can be adopted.
